NaNoWriMo is here again!

This is going to be a short post. It's first November, and for those of us in the writing world, it's NaNoWriMo! (National Novel Writing Month). The aim of NaNoWriMo is to write a novel in a month. The average wordcount is pegged at 50K, meaning one must aim for 1667 words a day in order to complete the novel at the end of the month. My novel is shorter and already half done, but at the rate at which I've been going, I need some focus, hence NaNo-ing this year.
